We watched the movie The Quiet Girl in December for the  radio project of Gaston Serpette secondary school .This is the summary of the movie and its trailer. 




Rural Ireland 1981. A quiet, neglected girl is sent away from her dysfunctional family to live with foster parents for the summer. She blossoms in their care, but in this house where there are meant to be no secrets, she discovers one.

Set in 1981, this movies tells the story of a young girl, Cáit, who is sent away for the summer from her dysfunctional family to live with "her mother's people". These are Seán and Eibhlín Cinnsealach; a middle-aged couple she has never met. Slowly, in the care of this couple, Cáit blossoms and discovers a new way of living, but in this house where affection grows and there are meant to be no secrets, she discovers one.

    Nous sommes des élèves de 3ème du collège Gaston Serpette à Nantes Nous participons à un projet dans lequel nous intervenons dans le cadre du festival universciné. Nous avons interviewé la directrice du festival, les étudiants qui y ont participé mais également le public venu voir le film. We are pupils from Gaston Serpette secondary school in Nantes. We took part in the radio project and we intervened in the univerciné film festival. We interviewed the director of the festival, the students who helped organize the festival and the public who saw the movie.

Le festival Univerciné de Nantes est un festival de cinéma dédié aux films britan n ique s, allemand s, italien s,et de l'est. Il est organisé par Nantes Université et existe depuis 2007.La présidente est Gloria Paganini. L e jury univerciné est constitué d'étudiants que nous avons d'ailleurs rencontré. En fin 2022 s 'est déroulé l e quinzième cycle.   T he festival Univercine in Nantes is a film festival dedicated to British, German, Italian and East European countries movies . It is organized by Nantes Universit y and exist s since 2007. The pr e sident is Gloria Paganini. The univercine jury consists of s t udents we have met. In the end of 2022 it was the fifteenth season.
